A slower look at Amsterdam

01 · Brouwersgracht

Walk along the water and look up at the old warehouse shutters. Pause at a bridge to see how the canal and the rows of houses frame one another.

02 · Jordaan

From the canal ring, turn into the Jordaan and follow the side streets. Pick one bridge as your landmark and leave time to retrace the route.

03 · Oosterdok

Head toward the waterfront around Oosterdok. The view opens up here, with room to step back and see how the old city meets the newer harbour.
